I whine, I gain some positivity, I whine again.

I'm so bummed today. My neighbors across the street, a young couple with a baby, lost their home to foreclosure. He had run a successful fencing installation company, and with the economic downturn, went out of business. My picture window looks right out over their cute little log house, and watching them move all their stuff out makes me really sad. :(

EHEM! WHY did no one come directly to my journal and inform me that there was a new version of the Arthurian legend made by the BBC called MERLIN STARRING ANTHONY STEWART HEAD AS UTHER? I discovered this by accident by reading about it over on Dreamwidth, then seeking out a streaming online episode, which got my attention but the sound was messed up, so now I'm... er... obtaining Season 1.

Awwww! Now this totally smorshed my cynical little heart. If you haven't seen the Britain's Got Talent Lady by now, I recommend watching it. It's fantastic and amazing and inspiring in its own right, but it's well worth it for the look on Simon's face alone!

Dudes, I am SERIOUSLY overworking my portable hard drive. I fear for its continued existence, and that means I MUST BURN EVERYTHING ONTO DVD QUICKLY! Why oh why does it take 8 hours to transcode into DVD format?

I know, horrible problems, right?
