theantijoss: Hee. I love the combination of this reference and this scene from Big Bang. (BBT - Holy Grail)

Tuesday. Oh, crap, I forgot to take the garbage out.

Oh no! Did you hear that David Arquette and Courtney Cox are splitting up? That's so sad, I liked them as a couple. :(

I'm not going to cut for Gossip Girl this week, because there's no spoilers in my wrap up. I REALLY hate this season so far. I was so excited that no annoying Taylor Momsen would be present, but... alas, it's not so. There's too much Vanessa, and the only characters I actually don't loathe are Blair and Serena. I even hate Chuck, and not in a fun way. It's a real bummer when even your guilty pleasure show gets so annoying it's not fun anymore. Oh, and Juliet? Sucks extra hard.

Whereas Castle, on the other hand, becomes more and more wonderful and charming every week. *snuggles Castle* Castle's family, especially, continues to rule the universe. Steampunk Castle was the coolest thing ever. Besides when he dressed up as Captain Tightpants last Halloween.

Oh, and BOO TO THE NEW BOYFRIEND! BOO!

And a huge AWWWW to that ending.

I don't know if I've mentioned this to you guys yet, but I've become an absolute The Big Bang Theory JUNKIE (I'm on my third watch-through in a row), and the cutie who plays Penny was in a really HORRIBLE riding accident -- she's sort of okay, now, but UGH listen to the story she told on Ellen!

30 Day Memes, Day 03

Your favorite couple: Why are these questions so HAAAARD? Um... although I love the idea of TV Eric/Sookie, I'm not crazy about Sookie, so that would just be gratuitous to get Eric naked (not that there's anything wrong with that.) I have to say Jessica/Hoyt. They're so damn cute and tragic, I can hardly stand it. Plus... weirdly hot. Note for the record: I still want to see Eric and Sookie get together so we get more naked Eric. Plus, Bill and Sookie as characters are kind of annoying together, although I don't dislike Bill at all. Also, Alcide is freaking hot, so I wouldn't mind seeing more of him naked, either. If that means Alcide/Sookie, what are ya gonna do?

Still want more naked Eric more than anything, and I'd like to see Pam in a steady thing with a hot chick.

Day 3 - least favourite character: This often gets me lambasted in Angel fandom, but GOD I HATE CORDELIA after season 1. And it's not because of the aborted, forced nonsense that was supposed to be C/A, either (if they had done it differently -- and, you know, if Buffy had stayed dead -- I might have been on board). The character was a favorite in Buffy and Angel Season 1, but starting in Season 2, when Angel's complete nervous breakdown and loss of identity became all about HER, the character just went downhill faster and faster, imo, until I was really happy when she was GONE. (Now, let us separate fiction from real life, kids, I know some fans have a problem with that. My hatred of Cordelia and happy dance when the character was GONE is in direct opposition to how I felt about the poor actress and how fucking SCREWED she got by Mutant Enemy. Seriously, I have a hard time thinking of an actress --that I know about, anyway -- who was treated worse on TV for getting pregnant. They knew it was illegal to fire her, so they wrote the crappiest possible storyline that completely disrespected the character and was really dumb in execution, leaving seasons 3&4 a steaming pile of crap that the show barely recovered from before it got canceled.)

I shed a tear for Angel in "You're Welcome," but I sang Ding Dong the Witch is Dead after. Yeah, that's right.

Not to be unfair, I loathed Eve too, but she was only there a short time. I got the idea of the character, but the execution, again, was really, really bad.

least favourite character - Hm. Another tough one. I'm going to have to go with Riley. Bad idea, bad execution on every level. That Noxious spent so much time and energy trying to shove him down our throats made absolutely sure that I would hate him that much more, and humiliating Buffy with that Into the Woods nonsense sealed his fate. I confess, I enjoyed his appearance in S6's As You Were, but... other than that, just no.

I hated him so much in S4, I wrote a crack fic that had him getting eaten by a vampire cow. That's how much I hated Riley. It was too soon, he was too lame a character, and as I said, his storyline was just... dumb. Poor Marc Blucas. I bet he had no idea what he was getting himself into at the time.
