Wait... what happened to Saturday?

I hate hate HATE days when I feel this crappy! I already took two pain pills, and I'm still going OW! MY SQUEEDILY SPOOCH! (Invader Zim reference. *G*) STOP IT, GUT! RIGHT NOW! It is the day before my birthday, and you are NOT allowed to thwart the obscenely huge Tex-Mexy meal I have planned for tomorrow which will require fistfuls of pain meds the next day!
Also, it's supposed to be EIGHTY FIVE DEGREES tomorrow. WTF? Looks like I better clean up The Pit today so I can work down there tomorrow! The dust situation... is not good. Every time the cats wander down there, they come up looking like they grew another whole coat of grey fur. I may have been neglecting The Pit since my Mom's been home from the hospital. It's easy to ignore the rest of the office when I do the laundry -- I just throw things in the appropriate machine, and run away.
I may not be a very good housekeeper. *G*

Anyhoo, so can someone explain to me why, even though I have a 5mbs internet signal, I can't download something (at 50k/sec) and watch a YouTube or Hulu video at the same time? Can someone please explain MATH to the internetz, cause this is seriously thwarting my viewing schedule! Also, I haven't managed to successfully burn another DVD in the past few days. I suspect it may have something to do with the Nero update I downloaded, so I'm going to roll it back to the last one and see if that helps.
When it comes to my own stuff, I've mostly just been burning the .avi files to DVD so I can get them off my hard driveto make room for more and watch them on my PC. But things I get for my folks need to work on their DVD player. I'll have to keep working on it.

Currently making my way through Merlin and No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency, both of which I love... in very different ways, of course. I think Precious is my new hero! And Merlin... dude, I can't remember the last time I saw such a gay show on TV. It's been a while. Seriously. I expect all the characters to just drop and start snogging at any moment -- the girls with the girls, and the boys with the boys. Oh, and why is Giles such a prick? Not in the porn way, either.
Back to the viewing. More tomorrow?
