I just love this show, I really do. The guys, of course, but even the peripheral and guest characters are awesome. I adored the giant theif and his tarot card reading, bong making girlfriend. I loved the story of the dashund. Most of all, I loved that they're keeping Winston, who absoutely rules! And Hank's story makes me tear up a little bit, especially that end part in the house. Poor Hank. Come here, baby, I'll snuggle you.

Anyway, I hope it keeps going. It's not doing great in the ratings so far. If you need something to watch on Wednesdays at 10, check out Terriers on FX. Pweeeze. ;)

I'm at the end of Season 2 of The Wire, and I have to say, I had NO IDEA that Chris Bauer (who plays our poor sherrif Andy Bellefleur on True Blood) was such a great and accomplished actor! He's just one of those guys who seems to slip under the radar, you know? Anyway, I've been really impressed with him in this role.

But I'll always hear him screaming, "PIIIIGGG!"

Also in regard to The Wire: I can't help but love Omar. He's such a tricky bitch. I know he has to die sooner or later, but still.
